New: macro snapshot (more context, less noise)

• Added a small macro snapshot section (config-driven) to show a few key indicators.
• Kept the list short to avoid turning the page into a noisy ticker.

New: translation-safe config merging

We improved i18n merging so translations can’t accidentally break the site:

• Non-translatable config fields (like block, url, icons, series IDs) always fall back to English/base values.
• Human-readable copy still translates normally.

This prevents “missing blocks / broken imports” when external translation tools translate config values.

What shipped

• Public landing page with transparent positioning and data-source links
• The US Kill Line calculator (inputs + outputs + disclaimers)
• Dashboard charts powered by FRED (optional key)
• Methodology and guides pages (MDX content)

Notes on data

• Macro charts use FRED series when FRED_API_KEY is configured.
• If the key is missing, the site still works (charts may show empty state).

What’s next

• Expand data coverage (more macro indicators and clearer definitions)
• Publish more articles and case studies so the project is less “thin” and more educational for readers and reviewers
